I am a self-taught artist originally from Northern Michigan, now living and creating in Canton, Michigan. My work is a vibrant exploration of color, texture, and emotion, grounded in a daily creative practice that allows for constant experimentation and joyful risk-taking.
I specialize in one-of-a-kind abstract collage art, working primarily with mixed media, acrylic, and ink on canvas or wood panel. My artistic process is layered and intuitive. Through careful material selection, I build rich foundations, which are then infused with a combination of selectively applied crackle, found objects, raked adhesives, and metallic foils, creating works that shimmer with texture and depth. Once these base materials are transformed into dynamic cutouts, I assemble and varnish them into compelling compositions, finishing each piece with a glossy coat of resin that brings my layered worlds to life.
I find inspiration in the vibrancy of color combinations, the spontaneity of collage, and the expressive potential of abstract forms. Through my art, I strive to connect with a sense of joy, innocence, and my highest self. I am humbled and grateful to share my work with you.
